Glad you had a fun time enjoying Kidzu's new exhibit. Until now, we had been renting exhbits from other museums and this is the first exhibit that we created ourselves and were thus very nervous about how it would be received. So far everyone has been thrilled and so are we!

You mentioned that it Kidzu is small. As the chair of Kidzu's board of directors (Kidzu is a nonprofit), we also think the museum is small, very small. I wanted to let you know that we are currently negotiating for space to build a new Kidzu that would be 15,000-20,000 ft (roughly 6 - 8 times larger than our current space). We are looking primarily at two locations: the rooftop of the Wallace Parking Deck on Rosemary street in Chapel Hill and space just off of downtown Carrboro being offered by a private donor. In either case it will be +/- 3 years before we are in the new space as we raise the money and sign the deals necessary to get us there.

In the meantime, please visit Kidzu at 105 E. Franklin Street. The new exhibit, Kidzoom! is designed to be visited over and over again.
