My Fantastic Poem

This is a poem that I wrote in my game "Animal Crossing".

At night the cherry blosems bloom,
the shimerring waters glow,
and here we are, in a circle wide,
deciding what shall go.

Polynesian Cultural Center

At the Polynesian Cultural Center, Audrey and I both got passports. You get a stamp at each island's exibits. All in all, I twirled poi balls, learned to make fire with sticks, fished, weaved a fish from palm fronds, learned to play the ukalele and got tattooed. Here are some pictures of everything!

Hanauma Bay adventure in Oahu

The day after we got to Oahu, we went to Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling. The first time I went snorkeling, I didn't actually go snorkeling. The second time I went snorkeling, I saw lots of fish. I saw a greyish fish with blackish greyish stripes. I saw a fish I don't quite remember. It was a parrot fish. I saw an orange eel with white spots. I was glad I went snorkeling!

Shave Ice

After we went on the big boat adventure, we had a treat of shave ice (Hawaiians call it shave ice, but I think it should be called shaved ice). I got an Island Sweetie, which is shave ice with ice cream on the bottom and condensed milk with coconut on the top! Dad got a Rainbow. When all of the flavors mixed together, it got a Coca Cola flavor! Mom had 4th of July. Blue vanilla, coconut and strawberry flavored shave ice. Audrey liked messing around with the straws and the paddles!

A really big, sailing, snorkeling, seeing dolphins and everything else adventure

Today we went on a really big sailing, snorkeling, seeing whales, dolphins, fish, and throw-up on seats adventure. First I'll explain our sailing part of the adventure. We didn't really get to sail much, because of the whales and the dolphins, which I'll explain later. Now, I'll explain about snorkeling (this is just the simple way to do it). We did get to go snorkeling, but I sat on the boogie board the whole time. They had boogie boards with windows so you could boogie board and see the fish. Now I'll explain about seeing whales. We saw some humpback whales on this adventure (that was what slowed us down). There was one whale that kept sticking its flipper out of the water and waving. Now I'll explain about the dolphins. We saw spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins. Spinners can spin up to seven times in one jump (that's what I heard the tour guide say). I saw lots of them jumping out of the water and spinning. We also saw bottlenose dolphins. They were getting really close to the boat. The tour guide said they like to race the boat. On the way to the snorkeling adventure, I didn't feel so good. That's what explains the seeing throw-up on seats part. We had a big adventure today, didn't we?!

Our Visit To The Falls

Yesterday we went to Uluwehi Falls. We had to kayak up a river, then hike up a trail to the water fall. The mud on the hike pulls your shoes off. We called it pull-your-shoe-off mud. It was really fun. We saw a dead fish by the water fall pool.

Aloha Hawaii part 2

Here are some pictures that make up an animation of a wave crashing behind me. We hiked up a hidden trail to see a waterfall.

Aloha Hawaii

Yesterday we went to the beach on Kauai Island. One picture is of Audrey sitting in a lava rock puddle. The other one is of me jumping across the lava rocks. I was jumping over some orange gobbledeegook. The weather in Kauai is very beautiful. Almost every day is sunny and the wind is warm and is carrying evaporated water from the ocean.

We're staying in a two story appartment. The upstairs has a bedroom which is the kid's bedroom. Downstairs has a bathroom, a kitchen, a hallway, a living room, the grown-up's bedroom and the added balcony.

Yesterday I had a pretend luau in my bedroom. We're going to a real luau on Wednesday.

Starting Mary's World

I started Mary's World because I wanted to experiment with a place I could put all my photos and accomplishments. I like experimenting. In the photo is me! I am wearing my choir robe.
